Acquisition
Bentall’s integrated investment approach capitalizes on strategic relationships to identify and develop targeted acquisition opportunities.
Over the past several years, we have assisted clients with the acquisition of more than five million square feet of retail assets valued at over $1 billion.
Development and Repositioning
Our hands-on development approach results in feasible, practical projects, delivered on time and on budget. The depth of our development and leasing expertise supports the execution of highly effective repositioning strategies.
Since 2000, we have developed or redeveloped more than three million square feet of retail real estate valued in excess of $500 million. An additional 1.5 million square feet of retail development is currently underway.
Leasing
Bentall’s dedicated national retail leasing team benefits from established relationships with national, regional and local tenants. Our cross-country network of leasing specialists offers in-depth knowledge of markets throughout Canada.
In a typical year, our retail leasing team of more than 14 leasing professionals will complete some 400 lease transactions, totaling more than one million square feet.
Property Management
In managing retail properties, we have a demonstrated ability to reduce operating costs while preserving maintenance levels and maximizing recoveries from tenants. Strong promotional programs keep managed centres top-of-mind with consumers and drive increased tenant sales and market share.
